Making Waves: Our Ramayana Water Park Pattaya Day 2 Adventure
Pattaya is known for its vibrant nightlife, but on Day 2 of our Thailand trip, we decided to dive into some serious outdoor thrills. We headed to the famous Ramayana Water Park, Pattaya which is officially ranked as the #1 water park in Thailand and #2 in all of Asia.
Planning the Trip: Klook and Transfers
To keep things seamless, we pre-booked our tickets through Klook. The total cost was $52 for two people, plus an additional $18 for a roundtrip transfer.

After a quick breakfast at our hotel, we met our driver in the lobby at 8:00 AM. One of the highlights of the drive was passing the Khao Chi Chan (Buddha Mountain). The massive golden engraving on the cliffside looked incredible from the road and was a great teaser for the scenery to come.
Arriving at Ramayana Water Park Pattaya
After an hourโs drive, we arrived at the massive complex. We quickly secured our belongings in a locker and hit the water. The scale of this place is massive, built on ancient city ruins themes with lush greenery everywhere.

The Best Rides at Ramayana Water Park
Since we wanted to make the most of our day, we tried almost everything! Here are the highlights of the slides we conquered:
- Python & Aquaconda: These are the giants of the park. While Aquaconda requires two people (and a brave stomach!), it involves massive tunnels and oscillating turns.
- The Python: A slightly smaller but equally thrilling raft ride that tosses you through dark tunnels.
- AquaLoop & Freefall: Not for the faint of heart! You stand in a capsule, the floor drops out, and you plummet down a near-vertical loop.
- Mat Racer: A classic competitive slide where you dive head-first on a mat to see who reaches the bottom fastest.
- Spiral: A gentler, winding slide thatโs perfect for warming up before the bigger drops.
- The River Slide: A unique ride where you slide directly into the Lazy River.
Unfortunately, my partner came down with a bit of water sickness after the more intense turns, so we had to skip the final round of the Aquacondaโbut we managed to board almost every other attraction!
Relaxing and Refueling

After the adrenaline rush, we headed for lunch. The park offers a variety of cuisines, and we found the food to be surprisingly good for a theme park. We spent the rest of the afternoon exploring the wave pools and the “Relax River” to let the lunch settle.
Wrapping Up Our Pattaya Journey
Around 4:00 PM, we took a light shower, changed, and met our transfer back to the hotel. After a short rest, we grabbed a quick meal at McDonald’s and took one last stroll through the streets of Pattaya.
It was an early night for us since we have a flight to catch tomorrow, but Day 2 was definitely a splash!
